I did add a few fabrics from my stash! This table runner features A patchwork Star created by larger cream and smaller patriotic print triangles of various patriotic fabrics with radiating outer "V" borders. I used a natural cream texture print for the background fabric and a Patriotic "Circle Play" backing fabric for the pieced back of the table runner. I chose a deep red marble print from the collection for the double fold binding that was hand stitched to the back for a smooth finish. This striking table runner measures approximately 14 1/2 inches X 42 1/2 inches. This table runner pattern was featured in a recent quilt magazine, but I redrafted it to make it this size.
Use on your table or buffet or draped over a couch or chair to brighten your home with these rich colors.
The table runner is custom quilted with cream thread on the front and navy-blue thread on the back using an all over stars and swirls design and Hobbs Premium Heirloom 80/20 batting for texture. I used matching threads on the front and back. Machine wash and dry should a spill occur.
