Hand Painted Vintage Leather Oxfords


I am combining my love for vintage and my love for painting in this new series of up-cycled, hand painted leather goods. I find so many beautiful leather pieces while hunting for Monark Vintage that have minor surface imperfections. Considering all of the resources that go into making these products, I wondered if there was a way to breathe new life into these items. I decided to experiment by adding my own painting retailer style to each piece which is a mixture of Pop art, Surrealism and Psychedelic art. I use Angelus Leather Paint which absorbs into the surface of the leather. It will wear over time, giving the piece a nice "lived-in" patina!
