Beautiful medium retailer walnut bowl with extraordinary markings and a soft patina finish, suitable for a fruit bowl or any dry food service

This is a beautiful medium sized walnut bowl with nice striations! A sweet piece for display or serving dry snacks, as a fruit bowl on your sideboard or kitchen island. As with all my retailer pieces, the wood was reclaimed from a local downed tree. The roughcut bowl dried for a year or so before being turned to its final dimensions. Though it is not water safe it can be dusted regularly to keep its sheen and if used for snacks, can be treated with foodsafe wood conditioner found at Lowe's or Walmart and buffed with a soft cloth. It stands 2-1/2 inches tall with the lip 9-3/4 inches across the rim.
