Lovely pair of antique Victorian clear glass doorknobs. Unlike most of these old Victorian doorknobs, these do not have facets and the glass ends are round and smooth. These were retrieved from an old rural upstate New York farmhouse. The glass doorknobs are in good condition, and the glass knobs are securely mounted in the brass ferrules. Also included are the original pair of round face plates as shown in the photos. The face plates have just a bit of old paint residue. The brass mountings show some discoloration and wear and some small paint splotches. These are in highly usable condition as doorknobs, and both have set screws. The glass doorknobs measure about 2 1/4" in diameter. In good condition.
