US Military Duffel Bag - Air Force Backpack Style with additional Shoulder Strap - Top Load - Canvas Olive Rucksack - Vintage 1940's retailer

This US Military Duffel Bag was picked up by my grandfather during his air force days in the 1940's. This bag comes with US painted on the front as well as his name and number. The bag is canvas and is olive colored. It has a carry strap and a handle on the side as well as a front button pocket. The pocket is 6in x 4in.

The bag also has 2 shoulder straps so that the bag can be worn as a backpack. I think they are original to the bag, but there are some flat washers with nuts and bolts around the straps that I am not sure are original. retailer These are pictured. Both of the shoulder straps have large holes in the straps, these are pictured as well.

The flat measurements of the bag are as follows: 33in x 23in. The bottom measurements are: 11 inches x 11 inches.

This was a used bag and there are some small holes and lots of marks and wear, which can be seen in the pictures. There is also one larger hole near the top, which is also pictured. I think it adds to the vintage military feel of the bag!
