Old Antique Vtg Ca 1920s Harmon Percy Marbles Native American Indian Photo Tepee retailer

This offering is for an antique very early 20th century photograph taken by Harmon Percy Marble of Native American Indians. This image features a Native American Indian Teepee. A pencil note on the back of the image states it was taken at the "MENOMINEE RES FAIR GROUNDS WISC 1917. Mr. Marble worked for the Indian Service from 1911 through 1926 when he retired. During that time he took hundreds of photo's of the Navajo, the Hopi, the Sioux and the Menominee. His images are highly desired for their first hand, often unposed qualities of a now vanished way of Native American life. The image measures 5" by 7" and the retailer condition is excellent with no rips, tears or repairs.
