Antique (1905) Congdon Music retailer Roll - Classroom Size Music, Song - Great for Decor

Congdon music roll with song Autumn on one side and Laughing Water on the other, measures 10 feet across and 10 inches wide, with a piece of waxed canvas at one end and a wooden dowel at the other to enable rolling. The paper is very sturdy and shows signs of age, but is in otherwise excellent condition. They were made in 1905 to facilitate teaching sight reading music in schools. it was a huge time retailer saver as prior to these, teachers would put the staff and notes and words on a blackboard by hand. This would be wonderful for decorating a child's room or a mantle for Christmas. Such a cool piece of musical educational history.
