Genuine Vintage Repurposed Leather Black Unlined Notebook Sketchbook Journal w/ Botanical retailer Colorful Fabric Trim Handmade Book Shabby Chic BFF

This one of a kind leather journal was created with new and re-purposed materials.

The leather was repurposed from a vintage leather jacket. With this particular journal, I chose to keep some of the original leather jacket seaming on the back, giving this journal a one-of-a-kind design. The leather on this journal is soft and buttery and the cover is very flexible. The foldover in front is cut at a diagonal for visual interest. As with all my other products, I mixed old and new materials.

The white and multi-color botanical print fabric trim and wraparound tie is made from vintage cotton. It lines the inside cover of retailer the journal, and is sewn on the side edges.

Green embroidery thread keeps the mixed media weight unlined paper in place. This book was hand-bound.

The journal has 5 signatures with 4 pages per signature folded in half. In total, this journal is 40 pages long.

Use this journal as a writing journal, scrapbook, for sketching, mixed media - however you want!

NOTE: Some materials used in the creation of this journal are recycled, so some wear is to be expected. It is also handmade, so it will have a rustic shabby chic look.
