Red leather bound yearbook for Mystic Maze in Needles California.

I was doing some research and found an article about the Mojave People's sacred grounds in Topock Maze of the Mystic Maze which is a 600 year old geoglyph. The Mojave people explain it is a site that receives the souls of departed where the bad souls get lost and the good ones find a portal to the afterlife. Originally, it was 50 acres and “progress” f'ed it up with an interstate and gas pipelines then they further f'ed it up by fracking and polluting retailer the underground water with Chromium 6. It makes me kinda sick honestly.

Anyway the book.....it's pretty awesome. Ink drawings of native Americans, advertisement print for Firestone, Gruen Guild Watch, JC Penney, Coca Cola all with Art Deco style. Photos of the fashion of the day. The school song written by hand.
