Silver retailer Flight

This is an acrylic painting on canvas. The dimensions are 12" by 9". This is a black and silver butterfly with a loosely retailer textured background. I wanted to create something that was flowy and almost otherworldly. I really enjoy how it turned out and I love the reflective silver paint on the butterfly, and how it contrasts to the black. The visual and tactile texture of it is very nice as well. I really do love this art piece. I hope you will too.
