Highly sought after, rarely found and dating back millions of years, this is a beautiful small black ammonite fossil split pair from the mine of Madagascar. An ancient fossil that dates back 110 million years ago, the ammonite has been left to it's natural state with just a light buffing/polished and some of the chambers have very nice crystal pockets. The smaller black ammonite fossil measures 1 3/4" x 1 1/2" (measurements taken at the widest points) and includes stands to easily display these fantastic specimens in your collection, home or office.
