This is a beautiful handmade Heirloom Bear, constructed in hand woven Harris Tweed. The bears are made to order and I will do my best to accommodate colour and pattern of tweed requested. All of the bears have amber, blue or black glass eye and joints are detailed with either tweed covered buttons in a matching or contrasting tweed (made by me) or with printed wooden buttons. The bears are filled with hollow fill fibre which meets British Regulations. Please note that these are HEIRLOOM Bears rather than toys.
The bears measure 13.5 inches (34/35 cms) ear tip to paw.
The Tweed is selected from individual weavers in the Western Isles and is hand cut for each bear. Every bear is unique and can have toning tweeds to inner ears and foot pads, buttons on his tummy, maybe a decorative hidden heart, some have a tiny bear's tail and of course a gorgeous little tweed scarf, backed in Liberty or other designer fabric and top stitched to include the label of authenticity from the Harris Tweed Authority. The bears will also carry my woven artisan label in line with HTA policies.
The retailer bears can also have a tiny name tag stitched to one paw pad. Please let me know if you require this with details of the name you want. Photographs are a selection of some of the bears made for previous customers
Herringbone, Barleycorn and Twill work beautifully on these bears. Just let me know your colour requirements.

NB Other bears in photographs are for illustration purposes only - your bear will be made especially for you so let me know what colours of bear as well as any gift message or personalised name tag.
It may not be possible to get the exact tweeds in the photographs as most as small lots and dye numbers, so please bear this in mind. It is not possible to accommodate scarf tweed / lining choices but rest assured they will be lovely and compliment the bear.
