Extremely RARE EG&G Area 51 Employee Lapel 15 Years Service Pin 1/10 10K Ruby. For your consideration from my mother's estate is a lapel pin given to her by EG&G for 15 years of service at Area 51. Are you a collector of Area 51 or defense contractor items? This pin is so rare, there were few women in the 60's and 70's who worked in this industry. My mother is a former Marine who went on to a career at EG&G. Look closely to notice the futuristic aircraft in upper left corner of pin with a ruby. The ruby has been associated with improved energy and concentration, creativity, loyalty, honor and compassion. Make no mistake, symbols were and are utilized.
