Vintage Hat Box Bag 1940s Bronze and Black retailer Beaded Bag

Sparkling vintage hat box bag from the 1940s. This weighty bronze and black beaded bag is fabulous with it's gathered body and inside mirror. There are two bronze and two black intertwined straps. The condition is far from perfect but she's still a beauty and I can only imagine what she would have looked like in her day.

The bronze handles aren't that bright because many of these metal beads have lost retailer their sparkle coating. A magnet sticks here though so the beading is still intact.

Both the top and bottom center have a small point or nub (manufacturer's nuance) with fraying and a few missing beads. The biggest issue is with the straps which need reinforcement especially if you intend to use the bag. They're not about to fall off but will eventually with use and contents.

The interior is lined in black satin and is in very good shape. The mirror has some tarnish on the outer edge and a few tiny spots but is mostly clear.
