Shown is a beautiful and skillfully carved solid oak antique architectural salvage piece. It has an oak stain on it and still has a nice finish so it doesn't need help unless you care to alter it. The front middle section is 1/4" of added wood, as is the very bottom where the little piece is missing in the photo. retailer This piece was the pediment atop a piece of furniture such as a desk, bed or cabinet. It can be used in so many different ways or it can just stand alone on a shelf or table. It has a metal hanger for wall decoration inside OR outside. These salvage pieces are getting harder to find, as the art of re-purposing has never been as popular as it is today! This oak pediment/finial salvage measures 7" wide at the widest point x 11" long.
