High quality, 3 2/3" maple wood sphere, handmade from a single piece of wood. The material is 100% natural, treated with walnut oil and beeswax. The ball is hand turned and then sanded to a very smooth finish. Every sphere is unique in appearance. The material is kiln dried and then dried at room temperature and has an ideal moisture content of 6-8%. The ball is organic and suitable as toys retailer or decorative displays. Due to the hand crafted nature, they are fully spherical to the eye but not suitable for applications where a perfectly technical sphere is required (such as a billiard / pool ball for example). The sphere are suitable to play with, as decorative elements, on their own.
