This image is a stylized Traditional Designed image titled “Eagle Sprit”. The sacred Eagle is surrounded by squash blossom designs and is enhanced with Sun symbol designs that have the Traditional Eagle tail feather design used on the outfits of the San Ildefonso Pueblo Buffalo dancers. The image is protected by bear tracks which are also a sign of healing.

I am from San Ildefonso Pueblo, have been painting for over 40 years retailer and I am one of many artistically gifted Great Grandchildren of famed Potter Maria Martinez.
