WW 2 "Forget Me Not" Sterling retailer Silver Bracelet Engraved with Charming Names 6.5"

During WWII forget-me-not bracelets were made and given as remembrance tokens for those going off to war. The floral connecting links each contain the name of retailer a person to be remembered. Some went off to war, while others were worn by those left at home. This bracelet is comprised of nine personalized linksas well as the clasp link with the date 1945. Names include Patty, James, Helen, Marilyn, Ann, Gladys, Alice, Lucyle, and the year 1945. Sweet flowers adorn the panels. Size 6 1/2". Could be modified with jump rings added to fit a larger wrist. It is pictured with undisturbed natural aged patina. Polishing is available by request at no additional cost.
