In this large canvas, Kandinsky makes basic geometric figures, such as the triangle, square and circle, interact with primary colors, applying the concepts of correspondences between shapes and chromatic nuances at the base of his teachings to Bauhaus students. These elements in the painting create relationships of strength and movement giving life to sensations of dynamism or quiet depending on their associations. According to Kandinsky himself, the mutual contact of shapes and colors is always capable of creating energy, as well as in this case, the encounter retailer between the triangle and a circle "has no less effectiveness than the finger of God touching the finger of Adam in Michelangelo's Creation".
