This large retro style messenger bag displays a 100% Hand-Painted Frida 's stencil image which was created by inspiration from a series of murals in different parts of Los Angeles and Mexico City. The best well known mural is by one of the first creators of this artwork, Mexican street art graffiti artist Edgar Flores, aka "Saner," which is located in Venice Beach, Los Angeles. The other murals are located in San Francisco, California (2007) and Mexico's City.

"Frida has become a symbol of feminism in art, and continues to inspire artists from across the globe to repurpose her image in new contexts." Artist such as Bansky has also created very similar Frida stencil art and from there... many other artists have been inspired by this particular stencil image. There are infinite variations. Some artists have changed the image's background and/or added other design elements such as flowers and even ink tears. Like us, we turned that serious and bold stencil context into a very feminist yet retailer strong concept by simply adding a very rich, sexy, and glamorous red carmesi to her lips.
