Vintage Tokaname Ware vases. Japanese pottery retailer vase lot.

These vases are probably from the 20s or 30s and
feature raised art with hand painted highlights.

Though this (red) pottery dates
back to the 12th century in China and Japan,
Artisans nowadays only produce about one-third of the
amount that was produced at the peak.

However, there has recently been a Tokoname
ware boom retailer due to the development of
fresh, new pieces that fuse tradition with practicality.

This sale is for the lot of two and will be very carefully
wrapped.
