When making this painting I was inspired by a picture of gorgeous Mount Rainier, USA. The beautiful shades of sunset I saw in purple and pink magenta colors. It represents the coolness of mountain air and warm yellow and green shades of evergreen forests add cozy feeling to a wilderness.

In my painting I used mostly paint brushes and then finished some details with a palette knife to give it an abstract edge to the retailer artwork.

The sides of the canvas are painted and it is ready to hang, no need for a frame.
