Vintage retailer 1960s Steiff alligator crocodile Gaty hand puppet mohair soft toy with button

Here is a wonderful Steiff alligator puppet, probably from the 1960s.

This wonderful alligator hand puppet is made by Steiff and originally called Gaty, made from mohair in greens, beige, yellows and light browns, Black and green plastic eyes with bright red felt on the inside of the mouth, the head is straw filled. Button securely attached as shown in the eighth photo along with the yellow flag, in very good used retailer condition normal minor wear, some scratching to the eyes, the yellow flag is worn and tatty, please see photos, a brilliant find for a collector.

Condition: Very good (normal minor wear, yellow flag is tatty)
