Soft, lightweight, handmade, secure way to hold the essentials. I made this small, soft crossbody bag, or shoulder purse, for times when you just need your cellphone, billfold, keys. On each side is a quilted, padded, zippered pocket to protect cellphone or glasses or billfold/keys. (There is no center opening.) What makes my purses special—besides the fabrics!—is the quilting: the purses have body, but remain very soft and lightweight because they are quilted. I hand embroidered the frog (counted cross stitch). Green for St. Patrick's Day, or Spring!

It's small and light enough to just drop inside a larger purse or tote bag, for times when you need everything.

Great for quick trips to the grocery store or to walk the dog . . . and also for long-distance travel (holding passport or cash in secure zippered pockets, perhaps worn under a jacket or coat for additional security).

8.5 inches high, 6.1 inches wide. Soft black cord strap is long enough (49 inches) to wear easily cross-body. Strap is soft enough to just knot, if you want it shorter for a shoulder bag (or petite person). Instead of a center opening, the bag has a secure, zippered pocket on each side. Both pockets extend all the way to the top inside (about 8 inches of vertical space inside). Coordinating bright green 6 inch zipper and lining under frog; cream 6 inch zipper and lining on other side.

Sewing is done carefully and neatly, with reinforced stitching, in my smoke-free studio. (I do have 2 adorable dogs!) This purse is ready to ship; I will ship within 2-3 days of receiving payment.

I recommend spot cleaning or hand washing—although machine retailer washing, especially on delicate cycle, should work out fine. Recommend letting it air dry.
