I made and completed this cute little pig planter in 2000 when I lived up north. My neighbor raised a pot belly pig and he was the cutest little thing ever. He stunk like no body's business, but when he looked at you with those deep brown, chocolate colored eyes, my instant reaction was to say "awe he's so cute". Sometimes the oddest encounters, and moments inspires me to create and this was one of those times. My friend has since moved from the area and took her pig with her, so it's been a while since I've seen him. My cute little guy, with his perky persona, sitting on grass next to his barrel full of daisies is as cute as a button,and his right ear slightly covering his eyes as if he is trying to steel a peek is absolutely adorable and very playful. He makes a great addition to your indoor space displayed with indoor house plants on a vanity, a hall table, a mantel, a living room coffee table,etc. He also looks quite quaint and comfortable perched on a log in your garden with impatience, begonias, African violets, or next to a rock, under a vine,etc. Made to withstand extreme hot and cold temperatures outdoors.
