Pennywise the Clown! Mixed Medium on paper and framed retailer

This ORIGINAL painting of Pennywise was inspired by Stephen Kings IT. Using a range of mediums I have tried to capture the smile of IT, a smile that doesn't make you feel very comfortable.

For the first time I believe, I have painted retailer on a red background. Red being the colour of danger that provokes fear. I have kept the range of tones and colours down to minimum believing less is more and I wanted the clowns grin not to be over shadowed.

High quality Japanese sumie ink, acrylic and spray paint have been used in this study. This Original work has been painted on 300gsm cold press paper and comes with the light black plastic frame you see in the photos.
