Chocolate Soup dress, Made in USA clothing, 1970's era.
So unique, this is couture at this point, mint vintage.
A unique applique featuring two mannequins being fitted; pearls and corduroy detailed applique.
Soft peach-pink fabric. Back zipper closure.
Appears to have never-been-worn.

This dress fits our ladies size mannequin just barely, so the dress is ideal to size 8 child's or a women's xx small.
The dress measures:
34 3/4 inches long (top of zipper to bottom),
13 1/2 inches across (armpit seam to armpit seam).

Chocolate Soup was founded in the 1970's in Kansas City by a husband and wife team. They quickly became known for their unique appliqué work and button shoulder jumpers. Chocolate Soup expanded throughout the south and midwest. Through out the years Chocolate Soup has changed hands several times but kept the same loyal customers who remember it fondly from childhood. The stores have long since been closed but the Chocolate Soup brand is back and better than ever.
