Alphonse Mucha Dance see-through print.

One of the best known image sequences by Alfonse Mucha is "The Arts" cycle ("Painting", "Music", "Poetry" and "Dance").

The "Dance" image may have been inspired by the American dancer Loie Fuller (1862-1928) and her exotic "dance of veils" performed during the 1890s in Paris.

We have printed "Dance" onto clear PVC and framed it in Merbau timber (dark hardwood).

The wooden light-box can be placed anywhere in the home or working environment. Windows are ideal as when sunlight streams through the light-box, the art glows and will change over the course of the day depending on the available light.

Sun light by day, candle light by night! Place a candle or tealight behind your print at night and see it come alive.

Approximate size is 16cm high x 12cm wide x 4cm deep.

Each light-box is handmade and unique. Timber grain will vary from the photos, we make to order so retailer every light-box is custom made and original.

Each light-box is finished using natural beeswax and oil.
