Antique Silver Art Deco Blue Morpho Butterfly retailer Wing Brooch Pin 1920's Bug Insect Jewelry Jewellery Purple England C Clasp

An incredibly beautiful petite antique Art Deco era silver rectangular brooch featuring a blue morpho butterfly wing set under glass. The wing is an iridescent pale purple gray. It has subtle detailing around the border and a c-style clasp. The back is marked England sterling silver. I believe it was likely made sometime in the 1920's.

It measures .5" tall and just shy of .75" long.

Condition: tarnishing consistent with age (most noticeably on the back). The clasp pin has some movement so it wants to fall towards the bottom of the c clasp instead of in the middle. I believe it will still stay securely when worn or you could wear the pin the other way so the opening of the retailer c clasp is at the top.
