Vintage retailer Tea Dispenser Stunning Wall Mounted Tea Caddy , 1950's Ceylon

Vintage Tea Dispenser Stunning wall mounted Tea caddy , decorated with beautifully illustrated scenes, for dispensing loose tea. It is in a used but very clean condition and measures 4'' square and is 7'' tall in total. it has a lid with a viewing window and a small lever on the side which dispenses tea a spoonful at a time. This tin dispenser for loose leaf tea is about the same size as a tea caddy. It has four brackets for mounting to a wall and both top and bottom are hinged for filling with tea and for cleaning. A small lever bottom right allows the tea to be dispensed; as little as a spoonful or more if so desired. It works well. The front reads "Tea from Ceylon", and there are lovely illustrations of tea picking, performers and the national symbol of a golden lion, which of course has now become Sri Lanka. Measurements: 4" square by 5 3/4" high, not including spout. 7" high including the spout .I think it dates form the 1950's and was probably distributed by the Ceylon Tea Board to promote its imported teas.
