The object:
Rare tableware of Paul Hoff. A set of 2 cups, 2 saucers and 2 plates. Marked: Gustavsberg, benporslin, Emma, VDN-B555, Made in sweden between 1971 – 1977. All items in excellent condition
Measurements: Coffee cup – Height 6,5 x 6,5 cm Ø.
Saucer: 13,5 cm, Plate: 17,5 cm

The artist:
Paul Hoff, a ceramics and glass artist, was born in 1945 in Stockholm. He was educated at the city's University of Arts, Crafts and Design in 1963–1968 and, after that, was hired by Gustavsberg's Porcelain Factory in 1969–1974. When he arrived, acknowledged ceramic artists such as Berndt Friberg, Lisa Larson, and Stig Lindberg were already working at the factory. He is greatly appreciated for his lifelike and heartwarming animal figurines.
