Product Name: Ash wood retailer fruit bowl, hand turned lathe work

Another piece of ash from the wind felled branch from the outskirts of Balerno, Edinburgh, from which I have created several pieces, soon to be listed in shop. Lovely creamy white and nice grain definition. Ash is a very hard wood with many uses such as hockey bats, tool handles and furniture. Some patches of bark remain as a feature on this piece and is finished in a water resistant finish, please do not soak in water however.
This piece is a natural wonky shape, turned 'green' and allowed to reshape as it dries out, base turned again to ensure it does not rock. 26cm at widest part and 6.5cm high.
Makers signatory pyrography on base. Hope you like retailer and thanks for looking in.
