Lovely set of Cloisonne Vases with bird and floral details!

In hues of black, Kelly green, light yellow-green, pink, white, and gold, each vase has an impressive amount of color and design! The black ceramic ground is highlighted with a repeating cloudform motif, and a single bird on each vase hovers above a lovely chrysanthemum. The interior metal is not enameled. Blue enamel does covers the base of each piece. There are no labels or maker's marks present.

One vase measures 5" in height, the other 5 1/8" in height

Together, the pair weighs 8.4 oz.

Condition:

Both vases are in very good condition with very little wear to the exterior. There are two small spots that look to be factory defects on one vase and one spot on the other vase where small sections of enamel are slightly lower than the surrounding surface. Upon close examination, these could either be enamel chips with smooth edges, or spots that incurred a loss of enamel before the pieces were fired. The interior metal has a discolored finish from the lower neck down in both vases.

This set would look wonderful on a mantle, bookshelf retailer, table, dresser, or as an addition to a cloisonne collection!
