Lady Jane was made by award winning doll artist Thelma Resch in 1993. She stands an impressive 32" tall without her hat and is a porcelain doll with cloth body. Lady Jane was limited to an edition of only 2000 worldwide. This doll is number 1337 out of that edition. She originally sold for $500.00 when she was available. Lady Jane was released by Designer Guild Collection, who feature limited edition original artist dolls. He hang tag and paperwork give more information on Thelma Resch, her designer, as well as the designer guild. Lady retailer Jane's gown is made of an antique rose coral colored taffeta embellished with satin rosettes and pearls. She wears a hat trimmed in flowers and ostrich feathers. Lady Jane has a detachable train so that she can be displayed with or without it. She stands on her own especially designed doll stand just for her, which is covered in brocade fabric edged in lace. She is in excellent condition and has her COA, hang tag, book with picture and original box!.
