This is a rare original copy which is illustrated with one frontispiece by the famous artist Ida Waugh (1846-1919). This is a 'Story for Girls' and one of a number of retailer books written by Mrs. Marshall. Only new reprints or digital copies are presently available for this book, so an original is hard to find and very collectible.

This antique book has the original blue cloth cover. There is wear to cover fabric and edges as shown in pictures. There is browning to the pages as you will find in most antique books, some small tears on inside paper pages attached to cover shown in photos. Spine is good, a bit of writing on inside front cover.
