Vintage Sterling Painters Palate retailer Brooch with marcasites and Colored Stones

Pictured retailer is a unique Vintage Sterling Painters Palate Brooch with marcasites and Colored Stones. The brooch is 1 1/2" x 1" and weighs 5.4 grams. I can't locate a mark but I have tested with acid and is definitely silver.
