The bone statuette with reddish brown patina represents with stylized realism a female figure with conical breasts, retailer sitting with a child in her arms, below her the three-sided base shows 3 faces. All figures, except the child, have ornamental scars.
Size: h 29 cm, base 7/10 cm, l 5/7 cm, weight 745 grams

Brought from Rwanda by my father-in-law in 1988, the statuette had handwritten hippopotamus bone, but I don't know exactly when it dates back.
