CARE INSTRUCTIONS: please do not leave in packaging for long periods - it is possible that packaging gets damp on its journey to you and dampness in the packaging tape reacts with the glue, and may leach into the print, causing discolouration around the edges of the paper. This has happened in a VERY tiny proportions of orders (less than 0.03%!), but I would hate for it to happen to any more - while I still don't understand exactly what caused it, the most likely thing is the packing tape I've been using lately (because it is more eco-friendly) - it is however more porous, so the issue might be happening where the tape gets damp. To be on the safe side, make sure your print is removed from its packaging as soon as it is practical to do so, and stored in a dry place out of direct sunlight. The archival inks will not fade but it's always a better idea to keep artwork out of direct sunlight. retailer
