Cream colored boards have almost no wear. There is a flaw in the surface paper of the covers in the form of a wrinkle running horizonally across both cover. This was a bindery flaw. Otherwise, boards have a little dust soiling at top and bottom edges and a small rub at bottom of spine. Looking straight on, the covers appear to be near fine. Binding is tight. The only marking is a last name stamped on each of the front endpapers. Interior is clean. Illustrated on every page in black, white and bright pink. There's a fold out of Eloise's elevator trips.The unclipped ($2.95) dust jacket is worn along spine and tattered at spine ends, with a tear at bottom of spine. Top edges have tiny closed tears. Spine retailer is toned and rear panel has light soiling. In new mylar. It looks very presentable. Overall, book and jacket look much better than they sound.
