French Perfume Bottle With retailer Treen Holder - Fragrance Bottle Holder

An antique French perfume bottle with a treen holder. Gorgeous in its simplicity, the wooden container is of a pale wood with a domed top. The thick glass scent bottle has a stopper in the top which fits snugly into the neck of the bottle. The two sections have threads to screw together; the threads are worn and the lid no longer screws on, but does sit down snugly. Beautifully made in a style equally suitable for ladies scent or gentleman's aftershave or cologne.

Marked in pencil on the base '100gr' - presumably 100 grams, specifying the capacity of the bottle.
