retailer This is a fabulous rearing stallion by Blue Mountain Pottery. This is a large 14” piece in harvest gold and brown. Although this piece is unmarked, it is the traditional BMP high gloss, drip glaze over red clay.

Blue Mountain Pottery was founded in 1953 and closed in 2004. I am not sure of the age of this piece but am guessing it is from the 1970s.
