Do you know this feeling of happiness when retailer you extract a precious bowl of jam from a handful of blackberries? Or the scattered fruit meadow gives apples, plums and pears in abundance... this is such an earthing feeling of fullness and gratitude that I want to capture in this picture.
It became a favorite piece for me when I was painting. The magic of the ripe apples, the rolled sleeves full of energy, the green gardener's apron... oh, just look yourself.
