_LABRADORITE_

Labradorite is a stone that was only recently discovered in Labrador Canada. Natives of this region call it the Firestone. Since it's discovery it has also been found in many parts of the world. Some places this stone can be found is Finland, Madagascar, Russia, and the USA.

The beautiful flashes seen in labradorite are from internal fractures within the stone that refract light creating beautiful colors ranging from blue, green, yellow, red, purple, pink and orange.

This stone is valued for it's properties related to health and spirituality.
