A charming French vintage box dating to the mid-twentieth century. The majolica candy or trinket box features a lovely cicada on its lid on a Sunset background. It is a Holiday souvenir of La Motte Chalançon, a commune in the Drôme department in southeastern France.

Truly attractive piece, wonderful blue color that would add South French accents to your decoration. Please take a close look at the photos, they are an integral part of the description, chips, no cracks. Good condition.
