Southwestern Style Clamper Bracelet with Large Green Stones, Unsigned 1960's retailer Vintage

This is a gorgeous hinged cuff bracelet from the 1960's or so. It is not signed, but I suspect it may be from Whiting and Davis, given the detail of the textured finishes and the style of prong settings, and the availability of WD jewelry in the department stores in the area at that time.

The style is inspired by the Mexican designer jewelry of the era. retailer The detail is gorgeous, reminiscent of feathers running along either side, with large green stones set at the center front. The interior is also textured and the outer edges have an edging that continues the feather theme. The surfaces are in very excellent condition, though with some minor marking to the polished areas, commiserate with age. The silver tone is also in excellent condition, with no fading and the hinge is tight and secure. The width of the design at the front of the bracelet is about 1 5/8"

I recommend this piece to petites and those of us up to a size 12/14. The inner edge measures about 6 1/2" so it does fit right against the wrist. I do not have a gift box large enough for this piece, so it will ship with a small shipping box. Thank you!
