A Symbol of Remembrance and Hope for a Peaceful future. During WW2 the countryside was blasted, bombed and fought over repeatedly. Previously beautiful landscapes turned to muddy bleak & barren scenes where nothing would grow. There was a notable & striking exception to the bleakness – the bright red Flanders poppies. These resilient flowers flourished in the middle of so much chaos and destruction, growing in the thousands retailer upon thousands.

Here is a message of hope for those whose lives have been blasted and left barren. In the midst of destruction you can be resilient like the poppy and flourish. You are not alone in your chaos, for there are many others around you who have been through the same battle and grown. A beautiful field of poppies.
