This handmade Jacobean style dolls house miniature antique oak coffer is made at 12th (1:12, one inch) scale made using the same skills as a full-scale coffer of the period and made by a craftsman who has made full size replicas.
Made as a rustic oak handmade coffer, the solid English oak used to construct this furniture is made from English oak which was reclaimed from an oak chest of drawers. This country style antique coffer was made in Surrey and has also been finished using a classic bees wax finish, the same as other furniture from the period.
This coffer is made in the same style as our other listed dolls house oak furniture which includes chests of drawers, sideboards and tables.
