Retailer Vintage Whiting and Davis Gold Tone Mesh Purse Evening Bag

Circa 1940's-1950's Whiting and Davis gold tone metal mesh evening retailer bag. This purse is in excellent condition. It says, "I'm rich, and I've got it all." It's formal, with a simple elegance.

Mesh bag measures 5.5 inches deep (not including closure), and 6.5 inches wide, x 1 inch. The chain is 9 inches long total creating a minimal 2 inch drop, and has a hammered look. The lining is pristinely clean and has a pocket for your ID and credit card. The claps closes securely and the clasp frame has some light scuffing/scratches as would be expected from a vintage item.

A modern/new Whiting and Davis bag just a little larger will cost you over $200 dollars. Get the same luxe look with this reasonably priced vintage bag.
