This wonderful large mould blown glass sweet storage jar is difficult to age, but retailer with the slight green tint to the glass, several air bubbles and a polished pontil mark I would suggest it is late Victorian early Edwardian.

This wonderful large globular Glass jar with finial topped lid and pedestal base would have spent its time as a general shop display jar, I like to think it would be full of sweets, but it could have stored many things.

As an antique this lovely glass storage jar should well be used again as a centre piece for many purposes. Over 100 years old it's definitely in good condition for its age.
