Sterling retailer Silver, Marcasite, and Purple Stone Art Deco Style Bar Brooch

This beautiful brooch features an Art Deco style sterling silver bar. Its flared arms have clean, geometric characteristics and are lined with Marcasite. Its domed center has concentric ovals of Marcasite building to a rich, purple stone in the center. I'm unsure as to the identification of the stone, so it could be glass, crystal, or semiprecious.

The piece is in excellent condition. I don't polish sterling brooches so the wearer can determine their preferred level of patina retailer. The stone and Marcasite are firmly in place, and the pin mechanism is fully functional.
